For the eighth time around the 5-yearly event SAIL Amsterdam is back on and around the Ij River. Based on the theme ‘A nautical encounter between the past, present and future’ the big draw will be the fleet of a variety of ships and replicas on display. The gala celebration, the largest event in the Netherlands that is free to the public will be tightly packed with sports and cultural activities.
