Akzo Nobel NV to expand its India business to 1 billion EuroAkzo Nobel NV, the Dutch major and the world’s largest decorative paints & specialty chemicals company, is best known in India for its Dulux brand. They have recently announced a Rs 200 crore manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh for their entry into the wood coating industry segment in India with a launch that was graced by Mr Hans Wijers, CEO & Chairman, Akzo Nobel NV. The company aims to quadruple their sales in India to 1 billion Euro by 2015 with a growth target of 20 % every year. They have also invested and will invest further in increasing capacity, distribution channels, storage assets & systems and brand management to meet their target of making India one of their top 3 markets in the world. .
