Cyclothon 2010

Setting the mood for the upcoming Commonwealth Games is Cyclothon 2010, branded as Gitanjali Tour de Delhi, an international cycling test event. Promoting the theme of “Burn Fat, Not Fuel”, the event will serve as a test event for the CWG cycling competition and as the approval of the International Cycling Unions (UCI).
In terms of numbers, there will be participation from 16 teams including Holland, Germany and Belgium, a 100km Elite international race and a 65km event for Indian cyclists. The best Indian cyclists may look forward to receiving organized training and a chance to participate in the Games.
